I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC summer holiday. (Or winter, for example if you are in Australia or Brazil) I know I had a good summer holiday, because it was me! Here are some pictures of my summer holiday in a random order.
HIGLIGHTS WITH PICTURES – Roll over to see a caption. Not all have captions.
While we were on holiday, our landlady gave us a brand new toto-style toilet (as Dad had told her how much he missed his toilet in Tokyo she bought him a new one – Dad is now very happy)
Seems the NCP car park owners have a sense of humour – or is it English Chinglish?
A bit more swan upping!
Funny prêt a manger sign
The garden shed project (aka Dad’s new home) took much longer than anyone could imagine, as the gardens were all wonky levels & we had to move a lot of mud, stones & rubbish. Planted new grass, which popped up very quickly. Hoping it will be finished by Xmas!
Shed before the wood
Went to Pollen Street Social for dinner with Suzie – the dessert bar & free tasters were excellent & I had a pic in the kitchen

Visiting Grandpa’s velocette museum was brilliant & I had a ride on 2 of the bikes – which were quite bumpy & noisy! He has 5 bikes, but not all were on display.

I loved Matilda even though they had changed the story slightly & I recommend it to everyone!
Here is Ms. Honey signing my program
I loved The Curious incident …. because it was really funny & a brilliant story, it was very technical & we had a bit of a delay starting to to technical issues (a projector malfunctioned) warning to parents: language unsuitable for sensitive & young ears!
We went to Jamie Oliver’s diner in Shaftsbury avenue for dinersaur burgers after curious incident
Painswick festival & the art couture show. Freya & Amy’s prize winning outfits. (Where we saw Keith – Lilly Allen’s Dad – in speedos.

20 boxes of cereal
2 jars of marmite (& we don’t even like marmite)
A dozen boxes of man-sized Kleenex tissues
Kiwi shoe polish (which can be bought in Shanghai)
1 years supply of deodorant
A bag of string bits (mine)
A dozen union jack Dad’s underpants (made in China)
A curly-wirly hozelock hose (which doesn’t fix the Chinese tap)
And the kitchen sink
